Om 11.00 uur kwam de truck aanrijden. Alsof ze illigalen waren uit verre landen sprongen mensen uit de laadruimte. Alleen waren het in dit geval kunstenaars die hongeren naar performance kunst. Niet wetende wat gaat komen had ik me geconcentreerd op de infrastructuur. Rond 14.00uur was dat geregeld en kon ik me aansluiten bij de groep. Maar op dat moment was ik al gerust gesteld door de aanpak van Ingo. Later op de avond zag ik dat iedereen ook tevreden was met de lange dag. Om 20.30 uur gingen wij eten. The performance I didn’t make, takes place in a dark room , a labyrinth of shadows somewhere in the darkness between the stars. You will meet all the people you never met but should, all the ones that once where you, the old and aged gods and forgotten friends, you will hear them before you meet them, their voices will guide you. All the places you hid your heart too well. A frozen time, lingering memories.
Afterwards you will meet them in a bar. They will be normal, stripped of their dreamsuits and songs. They will tell you what you already knew anyway. They will leave you once again.
The documentation will be a distorted record of the voices, photos of frozen smiles that reach through the centuries and photos of an empty installation.
 
Onceness is a function of the context, reception and the countless ways the bits of behaviour can be organised, performed and displayed.

It didn’t really make sense. You can play, the audience can calculate. At what time? I can imagine that a superstar performance is in the night. First you project the moon, then you project yourself. So, ehm, in my terms I would say great (…) but you have to put it into something else. So the conversation can still take place but then at the door.
